{"id":355,"date":"2016-03-04T14:54:41","date_gmt":"2016-03-04T14:54:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/windsor2030.org\/?p=355"},"modified":"2016-03-08T21:22:40","modified_gmt":"2016-03-08T21:22:40","slug":"landmark-stage-for-windsor-2030-draft-plan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/windsor2030.org\/?p=355","title":{"rendered":"Landmark stage for Windsor 2030 draft plan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Windsor 2030, the town&#8217;s central Neighbourhood Plan for business, has reached a landmark stage with the appointment of an independent planning consultant to prepare a draft policy document for formal public consultation.<\/p>\n<p>SBW Planning, of London, has already visited the town and the Neighbourhood Plan is on track for public consultation this summer.<\/p>\n<p>Windsor 2030 chairman Dermot Whelan said: &#8220;At that stage the public and certain statutory bodies will be able to view the draft plan and make their comments.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The Windsor 2030 Forum will then consider adapting the draft plan before it is formally submitted to the Royal Borough and, hopefully, endorsed.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>As with all Neighbourhood Plans,\u00a0if it wins the backing of the Royal Borough and passes a public examination by an independent planning inspector,\u00a0it will then be put to a public referendum.
